A successful outcome will provide an applicant with an Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Certificate III qualification

Technical interview assessments for trade occupations

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are now conducting Technical Interview assessments online for all non-licensed trade occupations or Pathway 2 licensed occupations.
While we are still taking applications, delays may be experienced due to the constraints within the current environment.

Australian Computer Society – ACS:

As a national body, we recognise that we have an important role to perform in the national interest.

In relation to COVID-19, we see there are two important areas where we feel we can contribute:

1. Limit the potential for the virus to spread so that the most vulnerable in our communities have the best access to Australia’s world leading health system.
2. Support small to medium businesses with advice that optimises working from home arrangements across all industries to minimise contagion and protect Australian jobs.

In relation to the first point, until 3rd August we will be:

• Closing all our Technology and Innovation Hubs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to all members and visitors.
• Cancelling planned ACS physical events for members and guests.

We want to do our part to ensure the current Australian COVID-19 trend flattens, and so support our frontline health services with the space and time needed to best care for those most in need. We thank you for your understanding.

ENGINEERS AUSTRALIA – EA

1. Due to increasing community and government concern over Coronavirus, Engineers Australia has decided to temporarily suspend all face-to-face events. This includes events which meet our previously imposed attendee limits. We will continue to offer members access to our online events and services such as EA Xchange. We are also working hard to deliver more for our members in this area over coming months.
2. The economic impact of COVID-19 has dramatically affected us both locally and internationally. How can the engineering profession plan for a desirable economic future, and what tools can we use to ensure that we are not left behind when the world emerges from this pandemic?
